Manufactured using ecologically sound dyes, and pre-shrunk to 40°C. These scarves are warm and comfortable. Hemp is a great insulator thanks to its hollow fibres which trap warm air from your body and act as a barrier to the chilly outside temperatures. Hemp also has fantastic moisture-wicking abilities, meaning that it wicks sweat away from the surface of the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable. It absorbs CO2 at an astounding rate, it cleans the air and soil, it requires much less water than other natural fibres like cotton, and it can grow organically almost anywhere in the world. Making the switch from cotton scarf to a hemp saves thousands of litres of water as it takes around 10,000 litres of water to produce 1kg of cotton fibre, whereas it only takes 2,300 litres to produce 1kg of hemp fibre.
